Jumbo's Thick Skin 20 digital prints commissioned by CEPA Gallery as part of Ruins in Reverse PROJECT LIST

The images were first shown in the gallery and after installed on a NFTA Metro Bus, which traveled different routes in the Buffalo Metropolitan area for six weeks. The series represents 100 years of Buffalo's calamities mixed with disaster films. Jumbo the elephant attacked his trainer during the 1901 Pan American Exhibition. His trainer decided to execute Jumbo by public electrocution and sold 700 tickets. Jumbo's thick skin saved him and he surrvived the attempt.
