An
old vacant corner store, a clubhouse, a serious gallery, a social experiment
and at base a room with four walls and a radiator. Poems were read there,
performances were made, paintings, drawings, and prints were shown, installations
were installed, music was played, videos and films were projected, and
beer was always one dollar. It was international, it was local, it was
small time with big-names and big time with no-names.
