The
skin of the white bear lies on the floor of the basement gallery. Its
human face is projected into the skin. It lays there an empty shell, a
rug with eyes that occasionally open. These eyes give the appearance of
looking but they cannot see. A large pile of stuffing sits like a mountain
of fluff nearby. Here is an empty skin. Here is fullness.
